Stage by Stage
The four steps above in full detail, so you know what to expect at every point and what will be asked of you.
We start with your travel plan: where you are going, when, who is travelling and who is funding the trip. We look at your passport history, any previous refusals and your ties to your current country of residence.
If we do not believe an application is likely to succeed yet, we tell you and explain what would need to change first. You finish the consultation knowing the destination requirements, our service charge and the official fees payable.
You receive a checklist built for your nationality, destination and situation. It states what each document must actually show, not just its name: how many months of statements, what an employer letter must confirm, which passport pages we need.
Where documents require certified translation or attestation, we flag it at this stage so it is handled early rather than discovered at the submission counter.
We check every document for accuracy and, more importantly, for consistency between them. Dates, names, addresses, salary figures and travel plans all have to agree across your forms, statements and letters.
We then complete the online application, draft your cover letter, and assemble the file in the order the embassy expects to receive it.
We book your biometrics appointment or, for destinations that require one, your interview slot. Availability is often the real constraint on your timeline, so we secure this as early as your file allows.
Before you attend, we brief you on what to bring, what happens at the centre and the questions commonly asked, so you arrive prepared rather than anxious.
Your application is submitted and we monitor its progress. If the embassy requests additional documents, we respond quickly. Slow responses at this stage are one of the most common reasons an otherwise sound application drifts.
You get an update whenever the status changes, rather than only when you chase us for one.
When the decision arrives we collect your passport and check the visa details, including validity, number of entries and permitted stay, before handing it back to you.
If the outcome is a refusal, we go through the stated reasons with you and advise honestly on whether to reapply, when, and what needs to be different next time.
Your Part
Our work is only half of it. These four things do more to protect your timeline than anything else.
Tell us about previous refusals, overstays or cancelled visas at the start. We can work with a difficult history. We cannot work with a surprise.
Applications lose weeks waiting on a single outstanding paper. The sooner your checklist is complete, the sooner you travel.
Start well ahead of your intended departure. Peak seasons stretch both appointment availability and processing queues.
Biometrics and interviews are attended in person. We will work around your schedule, but the appointment has to be kept.
Timelines
Processing typically runs between two and eight weeks. These are the factors that move it within that range, and occasionally beyond it.
Every embassy sets its own processing time, and those times lengthen during holiday periods and summer travel peaks.
Where an interview is required, the wait for a slot can be longer than the processing time that follows it.
A complete file moves through the queue. A file waiting on one bank statement does not move at all.
Some applications are selected for further verification. It is not a bad sign in itself, but it does add time.
